I think the original thread of this has gone kaputski. Has anybody got a copy or collection of what was there?
It was a worthwhile try. I still have no plans in folding up the site, lest what's here be lost completely.
But yeah… there's no real activity from folks anymore.
It is a shame this site didn't make it.
I guess when you have the official forum and can create your own website easily there really isn't much of a need for a site like this.
Now I guess all we can go is go through his clothes and look for loose change.
So I believe I've solved the "paralyzed by daylight"/game inoperability issue with a very interesting mechanic. Bear with me on this idea:
A gargoyle/imprisoned Aeon keeps within him a shard of the Sol Invictus, source of the Empyrean Light and progenitor of the Aeons. That shard, called a tomos, can be shared with a carefully chosen mortal known as a Proxy. Proxies are usually chosen out of a special order that both gargoyles and humans share in (potentially the Stations/ Y-splat I mentioned below this). This sharing of the tomos binds proxy and gargoyle to each other. The proxy will be blessed with longevity, the gargoyle gifted with a protector during the daylight. Should one die, the other shall follow.
From that point forward, the proxy will always fall asleep at dusk, rising at dawn. The gargoyle will follow with a stone slumber at dawn, rising at dusk. Never the two shall meet consciously, though through the tomos, each will be able to see the actions of the waking other in their dreams.
Ever watching, the proxy and the gargoyle.
And yes, the player can play both.

I just put up my pilgrim mark compendium at http://axistenebrae.wikidot.com/pilgrim-mark-compendium. Been meaning to get around to that. It's for use with Promethean.

I've edited this page to include the Rites du Cheval, Rites of Denial, and Teleinformatics.
in discussion Hidden / Moderator view only » Mirrorshades Project may be coming
I've received this email recently (edited for relevancy).
I told him that we'd be happy to have it.
So, a new addition may be coming soon.
I was the guy who originally wrote the Mirrorshades Project a long time ago. I've been stumbling around the new White-Wolf forums and I'm glad to see the Homebrew community at least has a sticky thread :P
…
Also I have some other stuff being done including an OGL variant rule system that I'm hoping to use for self-published settings.
And that's the kicker: I want to stay clean and within the Dark Pack guidelines; but since I'm about to start slowly transforming my blog site to possibly start pushing towards making some pocket cash, it'll be in violation of White Wolf's licensing.
I was wondering if I'd be able to use Axis Tenebrae as a host and home for the project maybe? I don't know if you could host the actual PDF file, but I would gladly set it up on Scribd or some other host or even host the file locally on my servers, just not on my web site, and let you guys have it.
And if people wanted to expand on it, I'll gladly give them access to the Google Documents I used for it and let them keep it going. If not, I'd just like to see it up somewhere for those who would be looking for such a thing.
Thanks a bunch!

So I've been thinking about this game for a while, but I don't really have that much. Basically I've got a set of questions posted by shanoxitl, and the names of some of the species.
So here goes(Be gentle).
Alien The Intrusion: A game of losing control
What would their law system be called? The Greater Good
What would their laws forbid? Working against the Greater Good.
Who would enforce the laws? The Recallers
What would be the governmental leaders' title? Hive Seer
What would their progressive/modern organization be called? Comformists
What are "secret names" called? Real names
What two names would they call themselves? The Alerai(name for home planet)
What would their emotionally imbalanced state be called? Released
How would it affect them? Their alien nature would appear at the forefront
What would their morality status be called? Normality
What acts would cause moral degeneration? Straying from the norm/ Greater Good
What would be alien-specific derangements? Denial of Humanity
What would cause their internal struggle? The human fighting for control
What is an alien with zero morality called? Pod person
What would be their "myths and facts"? What would be their origin stories? Aliens from X planet came to earth to enslave it. Partly true, they came for the greater good. Enslavement might be a side effect
What are their lesser templates? Infected, who can witness their powers and only go slightly insane
How would they stereotype other supernaturals and vice-versa? To be dealt with in their accordance to the Greater Good.
What causes their transformation? What is it called? How are their lives altered? What methods do they use to control negative aspects of their condition? The Intrusion happens without warning, and then the alien’s DNA breakdown inhabits their torso areas. Their lives can be drastically altered, as it becomes hard to deal with humans, and they suddenly can recognize other aliens. The human part will fight for control at some points, but the alien can control it.
What are Alien-specific merits? What is an Alien's headquarters called? Aliens can take special tools that only their DNA can unlock. Their headquarters are called Pods.
The Fleets:
* The Kh'tar: Vicious killers who are reigned in very hard to their human side. They can very easliy move throughout the Warp, and thus through reality. Think Predator
* The Vessilids: Slim reptiles that retain their cold blooded tendencies. They can bring the Warp to the material, and can alter the material at their whim. Think Alien
* The Ceorixes: Avian-type mostrostites that can fly, mostly. They found their ability to reach into the Warp and interact with it like a human talks to an animal. Think the Skeksis in "The Dark Crystal"
* Groronides: Insects that can break themselves down into many of themselves. They have incredible mental abilites, like the Bodysnatchers of Old. Think "Brain Worms"
* The Alerians: Vaguely humanoid aliens, who can interact nearly perfectly with humans. Have control over basic physics by means of the Warp.
So that's it.
Deep within the Astral World is a home of godlike beings that attempt to influence the world by transmitting signals through the dreamlike landscapes to find human souls, the only link to the real world.
The person who gets attached by this directive becomes an Angel. He's overcome by a burning need to carry out the will of his personal god.
There are five different directives.
Creator
Defender
Destroyer
Dictator
Propagator
The angel is driven to change the course of the world as appropriate to his directive.
Angels are half astral in nature, and can draw upon conceptual reality to exercise powers over the real world. The supernatural powerstat is Resonance. This is the degree of clarity of which astral concepts flow through the angel's being.

Should be remedied now.

If you go to "list all pages" it exists but it is not yet listed under the vampire heading.
Some slightly greater consistency with Promethean might be achieved by making "Severed Memory" be the default condition for a Tiresian, and adjusting Residual Memory to work as a means by which each form might bridge the gap to the other form's experiences.
They are a VtR bloodline. However, I want them to be playable if there are no fey to feed off of. So I have had to tinker with them.
"Blood of the Stone" now fixed in Index Page and Update page.
Will the Celebrochan be a wholly autonomous game, Claive or an off-shot of VtR?
I am reworking the Celebrochan because I want them playable in a single sphere game. I may need the tag line changed (i.e. a bloodline addicted to the blood of the fey.) Also I changed the name of my "blood from the stone" devotion and cant seem to alter it in the menu.

Thankyou; I was completely flummoxed trying to do it myself.

Glad to have ye in the mix, SunlessNick. Went ahead and linked them up on the Index and Article update page.

I've added a new page, here, which adds some mechanics for obtaining Endowments without membership in a conspiracy; and also a number of "mundane" Endowments for conspiracies that don't use magic, relics, or high-tech.
Done and posted.
So here's a burning question: If my gargoyles are tasked with defending the sacred sites of the world or humans in general, if they are defined by light and belief energy and earth, what would their enemies look like? What would their enemies seek to gain and how?
