Contract of Primal Eros

Eros, the erotic drive is one of the fundament forces in creation; without it life could not exist. It brings life and pleasure as well as dark obsession and bitter envy. The many diverse creatures of the world are driven by this force; to mate and to bond. Just below the surface of any animal including man this lustful sexuality begs to be released. Changelings who master this Contract seek to be more in tune with this dynamic sexual energy.
Legend holds that this contract was forged in the time of ancient Greece by a powerful Satyr who’s sex no woman or man could resist. This was well before the time of the great courts and Spring’s emergence as patron over the realm of desire.
Over the centuries the knowledge of this Contract has waned. Whether this is due to any active suppression on the part of spring courtiers is unknown. But today some say the court of the antler crown does resent an aspect of their emotion being used by outsiders. The truth is most Spring Court members just simply want to learn Contracts of Primal Eros as part of their arsenal.
Today most Changelings who know Contracts of Primal Eros are Beasts who like the contracts creator are most aligned with primal sexuality; though many Fairest are also eager to learn this potent contract, it is one step removed from the courtly love they know best.

Contracts of Primal Eros are an affinity contract for Beasts.

Mantle of Musk and Roses (*)

Throughout nature from mammal to insect exist pheromones; invisible sent triggers used in mating. Mankind is no different though man does not consciously notice them; they are subtle and subconscious. Changelings who learn this clause can call on their bond with lust to infuse these pheromones with Glamour taking them to a supernatural level.

Cost: 1 Glamour

Dice Pool: Presence + Wyrd

Action: Instant

Catch: Character is wearing expensive cologne or perfume.

Dramatic Failure: The character’s scent comes off as offensive and loses 10-again quality on all social rolls.

Failure: The clause does not work.

Success: The character gives off a subliminal but potent scent that gives him the 8-again quality on all persuasion and socializes rolls for one scene. The character must at least be in the same room or within 20 feet to affect anyone with these pheromones.

Exceptional success: The clause last until the next sunrise.


Eros’ Disfavor (**)

There are many who use their sexuality as a weapon to get what they want. This clause disarms them. This clause can steal beauty and base magnetism leaving the target diminished and less impressive. It goes without say that the Fairest greatly fear this clause.

Cost: 1 Glamour

Dice Pool: Intimidation + Wyrd - Composure

Action: Contested; resistance is reflexive

Catch: The character spits on the target.

Dramatic Failure: The clause fails and the forces of Carnal Eros will not allow the use of this Clause until the next sunrise

Failure: The clause does not work.

Success: The target seems to lose their vital spark of beauty or charm. To onlookers the target seems to have an unpleasant aura to her.
The subject of this clause loses all benefits from possessing the Striking Looks Merit. In addition they receive a penalty to all social rolls equal to the number of success rolled. The character must touch the subject to use this clause. The clause lasts for one scene.

Exceptional Success: The clause stays in effect until next sunrise.

Arrow of Eros (***)

The classic ‘love spell’; for one night the character shapes and molds the targets erotic inclinations to suit his taste.

Cost: 2 Glamour + 1 Willpower

Dice Pool: Manipulation + Wyrd vs. Composure + Wyrd

Action: Contested; resistance is reflexive.

Catch: The target has accepted food or drink from the character in the last hour.

Dramatic Failure: The clause fails and any future attempts on the same target suffer a – 2 penalty for a week.

Failure: The clause does not work

Successes: The character can make the subject fall into a deep desire for a target of his choice. This can be a general type of person (red haired women) or a specific person. This clause can go as far as to make a heterosexual become homosexual for the duration of the clause. However this clause does not guarantee that the subject will act on their newfound attraction but it does give the target’s new ‘type’ a bonus to all social rolls equal to Changeling’s Wyrd who initiated the Contract. This bonus is stackable with any other bonus the character may possess, supernatural or otherwise.
The character must be in visual range to use this clause on a target. This clause lasts until the next sunrise.

Exceptional Successes: They clause remains in effect for one week.

Curse of Relentless Lust (****)

This clause fans the flames of lust in a target making it very difficult to resist temptation or to concentrate on anything else. Pure id takes control of the targets mind and heart.

Cost: 3 Glamour +1 Willpower for supernatural targets

Dice Pool: Persuasion + Wyrd vs. Composure + Wyrd

Action: Contested; resistance is reflexive

Catch: Target is in a room with no less than 12 burning red candles.

Dramatic Failure: The character gets a -2 to any manipulation roll on the target.

Failure: the clause does not work.

Success: The target is overcome with lust and thinks only of getting laid. Whatever tasks the target may have been engaged in become secondary and his main priority is satisfying his lust. Generally he will not attack or engage in combat unless attacked or if someone is actively trying to prevent him from fulfilling his desires. The target suffers a penalty equal to the characters Wyrd on any roll that does not involve satisfying his erotic urges.
The character must be able to see the target to use this clause. The clause lasts for one scene.

Exceptional Success: The Clause lasts until the next sunrise.

Visions of the Succubus [+++++]

The target is enthralled by phantoms of his greatest sexual desires.

Cost: 3 Glamour + 1 Willpower

Dice pool: Manipulation + Wyrd vs. Composure + Wyrd

Action: Contested; resistance is reflexive/

Catch: The target has told the character his greatest sexual fantasy.

Dramatic Failure: The images instead briefly vex the character and steal 2 points of Willpower.

Failure: The clause does not work

Success: The Phantoms images embrace the target who becomes immersed in the ecstasy of their touch. The target lives in his deepest fantasies and is lost in repeated orgasms. In order to take any action beyond these visions when this clause is in effect, the target must spend a point of Willpower. The target may take move and reflexive actions without spending Willpower; only actively rolled action incurs a Willpower coast. If the target reaches zero Willpower he falls into a semi-coma, completely succumb to the illusions. He can then only be awakened by taking a point of any damage.

Exceptional Success: No further effect.
